    Derek 'O' brien

    Derek O'Brien is Asia's best- known quizmaster and the CEO of Derek O'Brien & Associates Pvt. Ltd. He is the host of the longest-running corporate quiz show, The Economic Times Brand Equity Quiz and host of the longest-running game show on Indian television, the Bournvita Quiz Contest, for which he was voted the Best Anchor of a Game Show at the Indian Television Academy Awards in 2003.

    Apart from conducting live quizzes across the length and breadth of India, Derek O'Brien regularly conducts quiz shows outside India. He is also the host of Mind Grind, a school quiz show on Pakistani TV. In addition to his numerous quizzes, Derek O'Brien has authored more than 40 reference and quiz books for Penguin, making him Penguin India's highest selling reference author. He has recently written a series of books for classes 1-8 titled 'Know and Grow with Derek', which is now the leading book in its category.

    Born on 23rd September, 1965, is the lead vocalist of the Indian band Euphoria. He also writes lyrics and composes music for the group. A doctor by profession (from UCMS, New Delhi), he specializes in Pediatrics. Additionally, he has been a judge on the popular Indian Popstars television show and has acted in a movie. Palash's onscreen debut came with Meghna Gulzar's 'Filhaal' (2002) opposite Sushmita Sen.

    Ruskin Bond, born 19 May 1934, is an Indian author of British descent is considered to be an icon among Indian writer and children's authors. In 1992 he received the Sahitya Akademi award for English writing for his short stories collection, "Our Trees Still Grow in Dehra". He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1999 for contributions to children's literature. His first novel, "The Room On the Roof", was written when he was 17 and won him the John Llewellyn Rhys Memorial Prize in 1957. Since then he has written over three hundred short stories, essays and novellas (including Vagrants in The Valley, The Blue Umbrella and A Flight of Pigeons) and more than 30 books for children. He has also published two volumes of autobiography. He now lives with his adopted family in Landour near Mussoorie.
